We offer several programs from Quality Eductaion to Youth Socio-Economic to Life skills to Gifts & Talents and lastly Mentorship. Below are the programs we offer

Gifted and Talented program

It is an alternative Holiday Learning Programme dubbed (Stadi Gifted and Talented Enrichment Programme (SGTEP) that engages learners in their own areas of interest to provide them with higher skills in creativity and critical thinking. SGTEP is designed to benefit all learners by offering them instructive teaching experiences that offer them additional challenges and stimulation in the areas of learning including Language, Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science and Life Skills and Living Values.

The Enrichment program promotes hands on ways of doing things. It provides each student with an opportunity to develop his/her individual strengths, creative and critical thinking abilities.

The Programme has been designed to be applicable and suitable to students between the age brackets (3 – 5, 6 – 8, 9 – 12 and 19 years),whose content is based on creative and critical thinking skills, curiosity and collaboration which are a part of the Partnership for 21st Century Skills.

Youth Socio-Economic Transformation Program

Stadi za Maisha Educational Trust is committed to ensuring youths identify their talents and nurture them for sustainable and dignified livelihoods.

Through our work, we address issues that affecting the youth in the 21st century such as school dropout, drugs, identity, crime, unemployment and the existing opportunities for secure society. We also have initiative projects of supporting youth through discovered talent to earn a sustainable income in Entrepreneurship

Parents Literacy Program (Non-Formal settlement)

The program has been designed for parents participate in their children activities in non formal school settlements in order to develop literacy skills. The majority of the parents are young mothers who drop out of school. We believe children succeed or fail in school is depended on parents level of education especially mothers is one of the most important factors influencing children’s reading levels and other school achievements.

We also provide opportunities for parents to attend adult education programs where the literacy skills are developed.

Youth Socio-Economic Transformation Program

The Stadi Gifted and Talented Mentorship Program is a child centered program that is offered to learners of Primary schools whose needs go beyond primary school level in gifts and talent development. The mentorship program looks to create and promote a sense of confidence and development of the learner in all aspects of their inner and outer environment. The mentorship program takes place during the school holidays which sees learners of different backgrounds from different locations interact and relate with the provided mentorship activities and personnel.

Mentors are recruited based on their qualifications with interest to the gifted and talented areas and needs that exist in the learners. These mentors take the learners through the whole enrichment mentorship camp in collaboration with the school management guided by the set mentorship objectives.

Youth Socio-Economic Transformation Program

The problems of continued cycles of conflicts, diseases such as HIV/Aids, STI’s, environmental degradation, drug abuse, early pregnancies, poor relationships between children and parents, teachers and guardians, employer and employees continue to pre-occupy the minds of many despite achievements in other areas of life like science and technology. SZMET has invested in building psychosocial skills in children and young adults through workshops, field based training and exchange visits. It has also participated in development of life skills materials for teachers as well as training them. It is through the above mentioned activities that SZMET has directly been involved in promoting peace initiatives, capacity building of teachers and patrons of various youth groups through sports and innovations and also organizing peace rallies. She is also an active member of the National Steering Committee on Peace Education.
